Dr. Quincy Krosby is Prudential Financial’s Chief Market Strategist. In this capacity, she provides a perspective on the global macro-economic environment and financial markets. Previously, Quincy was the chief investment strategist at The Hartford, and global investment strategist at Deutsche Bank asset management. She also held global markets positions at Credit Suisse and Barings.
Before coming to Wall Street, Quincy Krosby was a U.S. diplomat, serving in Washington and United States embassies abroad, including a posting as energy attaché at the U.S. Embassy in London. In addition to numerous assignments at the U.S. Department of State, she served as Assistant Secretary of Commerce, and represented the United States to the International Monetary Fund, positions which require confirmation by the U.S. Senate.
Quincy studied at the London School of Economics where she earned her master’s and doctoral degrees.
She is frequently quoted in the financial press and appears often on business television.

Kevin Brayton is the Executive Vice President of Life Distribution & Sales for the Individual Life Insurance business. Kevin is responsible for the overall strategic vision for the company’s distribution, sales and business development efforts. In this role, Kevin has accountability for the firm’s distribution model, maximizing sales by expanding our reach and creating synergies across the channels.
He joined Prudential in 2013 upon the acquisition of The Hartford’s Individual Life Division and served as the head of the Independent sales channel, which includes Brokerage General Agency (BGA) partners, Personal Producing General Agents (PPGAs) and industry-leading producer groups.
Kevin has worked in the insurance and financial services business for more than 20 years. He began his career with Merrill Lynch and later moved to Phoenix Life, where he managed life marketing and national accounts, including key institutions and independent firm relationships. Kevin then joined National Financial Partners to lead the firms business development efforts and recruiting. At The Hartford, he served as Vice President, Independent Sales & Distribution, and helped to create and grow the independent distribution platform.
Kevin holds an undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts. He is an active board member of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and lives in Somers, Conn. with his wife and two children.
